Class Cancellation/Student Withdrawal Policy
Once you register and pay, no refunds will be given.

If you wish to withdraw a student from class or camp, you must inform a Zoo Education staff member at least 24 hours prior to class in order to receive a voucher that may be used for future classes or camps. If you inform us with less than 24 hours, don’t show for class, or call us after the class or camp has taken place, you will NOT be allowed to receive a voucher or move a student to another class or camp.

If you wish to move a student to another class or camp, you must inquire at least 24 hours prior to the registered class, and the potential class must still have available space.

If the Henson Robinson Zoo cancels a class due to low enrollment, you will be notified, and you will have a voucher for the value of the class sent to you that may be used for future classes or camps.

If the Henson Robinson Zoo cancels a class due to inclement weather, or teacher or facility unavailability, we will attempt to reschedule the class, and you will be notified. If you can not attend the rescheduled class, you will be sent a voucher for the value of the class that may be used for future classes or camps.

Class Policies
If your child has allergies or any special conditions that the zoo teachers needs to be aware of, please inform them. If your child has food allergies, you may need to bring your own snack.

Have your child dress appropriately for zoo. We play outside games, paint crafts, and go into the goat lot, so wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you and your child won’t mind getting dirty. Also, please make sure that the student wears close-toed shoes that fit securely on the feet, or he/she may not be able to play running games or go in with the goats.

Doors to the classroom will open 15 minutes before class starts. If you come early, please wait with your child in the lobby until the doors open and a teacher checks your child in.

If someone else is picking your child up, please inform one of the teachers.

You must come into the lobby to pick your child up. Students will not be allowed out of the lobby area without an approved guardian.

Please be prompt in picking up your child.

We expect students to be respectful to the zoo teachers and the other students. If a student’s behavior is consistently disrespectful or disruptive to the class as a whole, the Henson Robinson Zoo reserves the right to remove that student from that class and any other zoo classes or camps that the student is registered for.
